BUSINESS AREAS

Here you can read about business areas in Ballerup municipality – and find out if this municipality is right for your company

Our largest business park is the well-known Lautrupgård, a 200 hectare (500 acres) area of land with the highest concentration of technology-intensive companies in the country. This attractive area is dominated by the administrative domiciles of Danish and international companies within ITC and financing. Located here is also the university campus of the UC of Engineering and Aalborg University Copenhagen. It is a green, open area where the lakes and natural vegetation have been kept intact.

The area has been an attractive location for major office buildings since the 1970s when high-technology companies such as Siemens, Xerox, Oracle and other business service, consultancy and insurance companies established their offices here. Since then Pfizer, GN Store Nord, Fujitzu, Logica, and Atea have also sited their domiciles around Lautruppark.
