Motorway
Copenhagen is connected by motorway to continental Europe and to southern Sweden and the rest of Scandinavia via the Øresund Bridge, a 16 kilometre long combined tunnel and bridge between Copenhagen on the Danish side and Malmö on the Swedish side.
Metro, busses and S-trains
The existing Metro lines are currently being extended, connecting all parts of the capital. The new Metro section called the Metro city circle is expected to run from 2018. The Copenhagen Metro is prized as the world's best.
Copenhagen comprise an extensive network of busses and S-trains which makes it fast and easy to go from one end of the city to another.
Bikes
The Copenhagen bike culture is unique. 20,000-30,000 cyclists use the main traffic roads every day and actually, 37 per cent bike to work or school every day.
Due to the many biking tracks, there is a good biking environment.
Biking Copenhageners contribute to keeping the city's level of traffic-generated carbon emissions down compared to the level of other big cities. Not only is biking a cheap and efficient way to make a city more sustainable, but it also keeps people healthy.
