BUSINESS AREAS

Here you can read about business areas in Egedal municipality – and find out if this municipality is right for your company

Egedal offers several attractive business locations centrally located in the Capital Region

Toftegaard Park, Kiledal Park and Kong Svend's Park are business parks that offer many options for an attractive, central location in the business centre of the future. In these business parks Egedal municipality is offering some of the largest sites available - and close to public transportation. A total of 2 million square metres (500 acres) of industrial sites are available in the municipality.

Toftegaard Park is an area of 1 million square metres (250 acres) located close to Copenhagen, with a local train station at the site and frequent connections to Copenhagen. Our vision for Toftegaard Park is to create a business park in green surroundings with businesses that do not pollute, are not noisy and do not produce obnoxious emissions. Toftegaard Park is ideal for knowledge and staff-intensive businesses that wish to be located close to Copenhagen in green surroundings close to similar businesses. Several businesses within life science and biotech have already chosen to establish themselves in Toftegaard Park. Other obvious industries include IT, service and administration.

Kiledal Park and Kong Svend's Park, only 20 kilometres (13 miles) from Copenhagen city centre, are two of the Capital Region's most attractive business parks. They offer interesting prospects for the development of knowledge and research intensive businesses. The parks, which together occupy 1 million square metres (250 acres), are located adjacent to insulin production giant Novo Nordisk in Måløv. Novo Nordisk's headquarters and the two business parks form a triangle around the new Kiledal train station, only 30 minutes from Copenhagen. Set in hilly, green surroundings, the parks offer excellent prospects for companies seeking a prominent location in an inspiring environment. Hearing aid manufacturer Oticon has also chosen this area as its new location.

Innovation Centre
Egedal municipality is planning an Innovation Centre which will focus on research and development activities. Intended for start-ups, universities, researchers and established businesses, innovation space will be available to rent for shorter or longer periods of time. Administration will form part of the package, enabling companies to focus their resources on research and development. Established businesses will also be able to use the innovation centre for specific development projects.
