Gribskov is characterised by having many small-sized companies. 75% of the municipality’s companies have four or less employees. Almost every line of business is represented in the municipality.

Gribskov has a large number of companies within construction, consulting and cleaning. As a result of the tourist industry in Gribskov a lot of companies are within retail, restaurants, hotels, campsites and bed & breakfasts.

Foreign investors from Finland – Sunborn are planning to build a large Spa and Wellness centre with hotel and conference facilities. The project will be completed in 2009 if everything goes according to the schedule. The establishment of a luxurious resort will additionally help the development of the tourist industry in Gribskov.
